Clémence and Eric Orban became the owners of the Saint-Barnabé Hotel and Spa after they fell in love with the hundred-year-old residence. Highly appreciative of its natural beauty and the importance of its preservation, they have always striven to pursue a sustainable, environmentally-friendly development of the establishment. All materials used, whether it be the paint on the walls or the duvets in the rooms for example, have been chosen in accordance with these principles.
Their efforts were recognised in 2007, when the Saint-Barnabé Hotel & Spa was awarded the "Hôtels au naturel" label, and in 2011, Eric Orban became the president of the same label. The label is awarded to establishments that preserve and promote their regions and the Regional Natural Parks within them.
